- The bar is stiffer than regular Olympic barbells with less whip, making it ideal for movements such as squats and bench press
- Deeper knurling feels noticeably different in the hand, allowing improved grip during heavy lifts
- The bar features self-lubricating, graphite-infused bronze bushings for lower maintenance and consistently smooth rotation

- The matte black sleeves on these bars go through a multi-stage process that actually transforms the surface of the steel (rather than simply adding a coating that could chip off)
- They have a matte black finish rather than a shiny black finish and will still show marks but the surface will not chip or scrape off like a traditional coating
- If you require a sleeve that shows less marks then we recommend the hard chrome sleeves instead
